A potential new M&S Simply Food store is coming to Sidcup.

The proposed store will be located at 124 Station Road, opposite Sidcup station, a site formerly occupied by the Co-Op.

An application has been made to the London Borough of Bexley Licensing Authority by Marks & Spencer Simply Food Ltd for a Premises Licence.

If approved, this will permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from 6am to midnight daily.

M&S aims to reduce its "full line" stores and open an extra 104 Simply Food branches by 2028, as part of its wider restructuring plan to focus on food-only shops.

A number of M&S stores are earmarked for closure over the coming months, including its Walworth branch in south London.

The full application details for M&S' Premises Licence are available for public viewing at the Licensing Authority's offices or via email at licensing@sevenoaks.gov.uk.
