An all-star charity football event is back for a fourth year at Selhurst Park with some big stars joining.

Goals 4 Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is returning to Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park stadium on Sunday, May 26, with all proceeds from the event going to the GOSH Children’s Charity.

Scheduled to appear are stars of smash-hit BBC reality show The Traitors – Paul Gorton and winner Harry Clark.

Two-time Premier League winner and England international Joleon Lescott is also set to make his Goals 4 GOSH debut, along with internet sensations Chunkz and Angry Ginge.

There are also set to be appearances from Goals 4 GOSH veterans including former England Lioness Lianne Sanderson, Hollywood star Tamer Hassan and YouTuber and musician Yung Filly, while former Eagles manager Ian Holloway will return to the dugout and lead one of the sides.

As well as the main event, there will be exciting events throughout the day including football tournaments for youngsters, and an adult’s tournament ahead of the main Goals 4 GOSH game.

To tune up for the main event, a Goals 4 GOSH XI will take on a squad of Ex Pro’s in a match, dubbed The Warm-Up at Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road ground on April 28.

Goals 4 GOSH is led by Jamie Groves, Regional Development Director at Funeral Partners and his friend Charlotte Styles, with the support of their homes across London including Gillman Funeral Service.

Jamie said: “When we had this idea, we thought it would be a one-off event which would be great fun and raise some money for charity.

“Nobody ever thought it would grow as big as it has.

“We have raised more than £110,000 in the last three years, with the 2023 game raising an incredible £46,731 alone.

“This year’s event is sure to be another brilliant day, with something for everyone to enjoy."
