Triumphing as the highest-rated McDonald's in Lewisham, this Westhorne Avenue branch got an average review score of 3.5 stars from a whopping 3,798 reviewers.

One particularly satisfied customer, Ruwan Ratnayake, even called this branch the "No 1 Drive thru in England".

He added that he was impressed by the "good staff service".

McDonald's, Old Bromley Road - 3.4 stars

Just a fraction behind, the Old Bromley Road branch secures a 3.4-star rating, fuelled by the "outstanding" customer service.

One of the reviewers said: "I am quite pleased with this McDonald's.

"It was the first one I have seen the managers doing outstanding customer service.

"While eating, they were in the eating area smiling, asking if everything was alright, if we needed something."

McDonald's, Lewisham High Street - 3.4 stars

Receiving the same score as its Old Bromley Road counterpart, this Lewisham High Street branch also has a 3.4-star rating on Google, from 1,636 reviewers.

Mr Wan, a frequent visitor, said: "I like eating in this Lewisham High Street Mcdonald’s because it has a lot of seats available.

"I was very happy that food was coming relatively quick.

"The staff brought the knife and fork, napkins, and even 4 sachets of white sugar with the food at the same time.

"This was the first time happened in Mcdonald's!"

McDonald's, Catford Island - 3.2 stars

The Catford Island branch comes in next with a mediocre 3.2-star score, from 2,403 reviews.

Paul Dunne said: "Look, it's McDonald's, not expecting much....but at least they got my order right....this time...always check before you leave."

Finally, coming in at the bottom of the barrel is the Bell Green Retail Park branch in Sydenham, securing a 2.9-star rating from 2,107 Google reviews.

One disgruntled customer commented on the "very slow service", while another said the hamburgers were as "dry as chips".
