A Bexley doctor who is accused of “unlawful sexual harassment” faces a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) hearing.
Dr Dumindu Karangoda, whose area of practice is Bexley as well as Hammersmith and Fulham, is accused of acting inappropriately towards two patients.
A summary of the allegation states: “The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 19 to 20 February and on 6 July, 2020, Dr Karangoda behaved inappropriately to Patients A and B respectively.
“It is alleged that Dr Karangoda’s actions amounted to unlawful sexual harassment.”
Dr Karangoda’s hearing is set to take place in Manchester from March 4 to March 20.
The MPTS website adds: “This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing.
“The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.”
