We've rounded up all of the empty houses in each south east London borough.

There are many factors as to why houses lie empty, such as economic factors, regeneration and development problems, social issues such as high crime rates, and ownership disputes.

At a time when house prices, soaring rents, and homelessness increases , the untapped potential of long-term vacant homes is worsening the housing crisis.

Recent reports reveal that English councils are urging for increased authority to address the prevalence of empty homes.

Hundreds of homes across south east London are vacant, and we've rounded up the number of empty houses across Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham.

Out of all the areas, New Cross South in Lewisham has the most amount of empty houses, with 465 vacant homes.

Below are the number of empty homes in south east London, taken from the ONS 2021 statistics.
