Two teenagers have been arrested after an attempted robbery at Elmstead Woods Station in Chislehurst.

Police arrested two 16-year-old boys in connection with the incident on December 28.

They have since been released on conditional bail.

A video shared on X shows two people surrounding a man in a hooded coat.

 

British Transport Police are looking to speak to witnesses, particularly a man who intervened to help the victim and a woman who was present at the time.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "We are aware of footage of an attempted robbery circulating on X.

“On December 28, we arrested two 16-year-old boys in connection with the incident.

“They have been released on conditional bail.

“We urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 394 of 28 Dec.

“In particular, we would like to hear from a man who intervened to help the victim and a woman who was present at the time."
