Planned engineering work on Southeastern lines this week may cause some trains to be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week.

The work is set to take place from today (January 2) and Friday (January 4).

We have compiled a list of all of the work taking place this week so that you can plan your journey.

No service via Lewisham after 11.15pm from Tuesday – Thursday (January 2 – 4)

From approximately 11.15pm, trains will not be able to stop at Lewisham.

Trains via Bexleyheath will not run or will be diverted to run via Sidcup, and trains will be unable to run between Lewisham and Hayes. 

On Tuesday, trains on the Hayes line will finish slightly earlier, with no trains leaving London Bridge after 10.15pm.

Accessible buses will run on the following routes:

  • London Victoria / Denmark Hill and Lewisham
  • London Bridge / Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath
  • London Bridge and Dartford via Woolwich
  • London Bridge / Lewisham and Ladywell / Hayes
  • London Bridge and Lewisham
  • Lewisham and Orpington
  • London Bridge and Hither Green
  • London Bridge and Dartford via Sidcup
  • New Cross and Charlton via Greenwich

Other Southeastern closures from Tuesday to Thursday (January 2 – 4)

  • From 11.25pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Dartford and Gravesend
  • The 11.20pm and 11.50pm London St Pancras International to Faversham services will be replaced by accessible buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham
  • From 11.25pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Ashford International and Dover Priory
  • The 11.07pm London St Pancracas International to Ramsgate via Dover service will be replaced by buses between Ashford International and Dover Priory, Ramsgate and Margate

Southeastern closures from Wednesday to Friday (January 3 – 5)

From 12.15am until the end of service, trains via Maidstone East will be diverted after Otford to run to/from Sevenoaks.

Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Sevenoaks and Maidstone East calling at all stations except East Malling
  • Maidstone East and Ashford International calling at all stations
  • West Malling and East Malling
