A person has died after being hit by a train at Woolwich Arsenal station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported to police at around 5.30am today (December 15).
The person was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
The incident caused major disruption to Thameslink and Southeastern services between Deptford and Slade Green.
All lines between Woolwich Arsenal station were closed as the incident was dealt with.
All services have since returned back to normal.
This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police officers were called to Woolwich Arsenal railway station today (Friday 15 December) at around 5.30am to reports of a casualty on the track.
"Paramedics also attended, but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
