The following cases were heard at Bromley or Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on the week beginning November 10.

They include a stalker, a man caught with knives and a drug driver.

Barry Mills, 51, of no fixed address 

Guilty of a spontaneous attack on two men in Erith on May 3 and harassment three days earlier. 

Given a five-week prison sentence. 

Archie Leo Newman, 23, of Oakley Drive in Bexley 

Guilty of damaging the windscreen of a UK Power Network van in Gravesend, damaging a police cell and threatening two men on April 26 last year. 

Given a 25-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months. 

Roy Wisdom, 56, of Alliance Road in Plumstead 

Pleaded guilty that on August 3 last year in Greenwich he assaulted a man, and it was racially and religiously aggravated. 

Given a 24-week prison sentence suspended for one year. Told to pay £200 compensation. 

Gurmear Singh, 40, of Forest Hill Road in Forest Hill 

Pleaded guilty that on October 30 last year he assaulted and harassed a man in Orpington. 

Fined £500. 

Mustafa Quasemi, 31, of Sydenham Park in Sydenham 

Found guilty of having two knives in public in Lewisham on May 4. 

Given a 3-month prison sentence suspended for one year. 

David James, 60, of Waters Road  

Pleaded guilty to driving a van on Station Road in Sidcup on September 27, 2021, while under the influence of cannabis. 

Fined £880 and disqualified from driving for a year and a half. 

Daniel Shannon, 32, of Convent Walk in Ramsgate 

Found guilty that between May and June in Dartford he stalked a woman by sending over 100 emails, texts and voicemails. 

Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work. 

Lee Russel, 40, of Dallas Road in Lewisham 

Pleaded guilty to assaulting a man and damaging a front door belonging to Lewisham Homes social housing on August 14. 

Given an 8-week prison sentence suspended for one year.
