CHOCOLATE bars were the only serious casualties after a car was driven into a supermarket.
The vehicle's driver put her foot down hard on the accelerator by accident after filling up with fuel at the petrol station next to the Sainsbury's in Evelyn Street, Deptford.
Firefighters from Deptford and New Cross were called to a road traffic accident and initially could not see any damaged cars.
But they then spotted the vehicle sticking out of the shop front.
No-one was seriously injured in the crash but a spokesman from Deptford fire station said some confectionery was crushed by the vehicle.
An ambulance took the car driver to hospital as a precaution after the accident at around 11am on Saturday (July 12).
