FRIENDS of a pub worker who died in a road accident are struggling to come to terms with her death.
Jenn Allan was killed when her black Ford Fiesta hit a tree in Church Hill, Dartford, at around 12.15am on Sunday (July 6).
Her colleagues and friends from The Lion pub, High Street, Farningham, visited the scene on Monday to pay their respects.
Hayley Beale, 21, used to have drinks with Miss Allan while waiting for her fiancé Ashley to finish work at the pub and was one of the people who spent 90 minutes at the scene.
She said: "We all miss her so badly and really are struggling to come to terms with this.
"It was lovely to see all the flowers that had been laid down.
"It shows how many people knew and loved Jenn."
The resident of Hibbs Close, Swanley, added: "My happiest memory was one time when I went to meet Ashley after work and after I had been at a party.
"Jenn came and sat down with me and moaned about Ashley just to make me laugh.
"She always knew how to make anyone laugh - she was that type of person.
"I was shocked and still am, I can't believe it's happened."
Miss Beale says the 22-year-old Manchester United fan was due to have an interview for the assistant manager's job at The Lion on Monday.
She said: "It doesn't seem real somehow.
"I have really not stopped crying since I heard.
"Jenn's last Facebook update was 'Jenn is loving life right now'.
"So it's nice to know she was happy with life when this horrible accident happened."
Anyone who witnessed the accident or who has any information should call Kent police on 01622 798538.
