A man who was armed with a knife made threats at a Wetherspoons pub in Bexleyheath, a court has heard.

Mark Tworek, of Cuxton Close in Bexleyheath, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on July 4 having pleaded guilty to possession of a knife and making threats.

The 26-year-old was caught in possession of the knife on April 16 at the Furze Wren pub

The court heard that he also told police he had a gun.

The threats he made were racially aggravated, the court decided.
