The licensees of The Red Lion pub in Bromley are celebrating their 30th anniversary running the pub, and have expressed their “incredible pride” in serving their community for so long.

Siobhan and Chris Humphrey took on The Red Lion in 1993 and have been running the pub ever since, serving an award-winning selection of ales and beers.

In recognition of the event, Greene King has awarded the couple a plaque in their honour in recognition of the couple’s work over the last three decades.

Siobhan and Chris Humphrey, licensees for The Red Lion, said: “We feel incredibly proud to have been part of the local community for the past 30 years.

“Our pub has always been more than just a place to drink and eat; it’s a place where people come to socialise and create memories.

“We would like to thank our customers, staff and Greene King for their support over the years, and we look forward to many more happy years at The Red Lion!”

To date, the pub has received 172 Google reviews with an average 4.5 star rating and has won the CAMRA award for its selection of ales.

The pub was also featured in The Good Beer Guide on 26 consecutive years in a row.
