The Met Office is forecasting heavy rain and a potential risk of ice in south east London as wintery weather continues.

Yesterday south east London awoke to snowfall, with many Londoners capturing wintery scenes from outside their window.

However, the snow didn’t last and was later followed by outbreaks of rain throughout the day.

Further forecasts of rain with some potential sleet showers have been issued by Met Office across south east London today. 

Today Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings in parts of Scotland and Northern England.

Amber warnings have been issued for snow and ice across parts of Northern England, Wales and the Midlands.
