A MOTORIST had his pickup truck stolen after getting out to see if there was a dog under his vehicle.
The 65-year-old was in his black Mitsubishi L200 in Glebe Way, West Wickham, when a man came to his window and told him that there was a dog underneath it.
He got out, and went to where the man was kneeling.
The man then shoved him to the ground and rushed to a waiting vehicle, while another suspect jumped into the victim's pickup.
Both vehicles then drove away by cutting across the road and into the side street next to the Focus DIY store.
The suspect who first approached the pickup was a white male, aged around 25, was around 5ft9ins tall, and had brown, collar-length hair.
The incident took place at around 11.30am on Tuesday, April 8.
