WHERE better to bring history to life than within Danson House's Georgian walls and grounds? The old house welcomes in its new season with its annual launch day which hosts an assortment of living history attractions.
In the original kitchens a maid will be testing visitors on their bygone utensils knowledge. And the bedrooms have been staged in a typically Victorian style to reflect life as a lady and show female visitors the painful reasons why corsets, crinolines and bustles went out of fashion.
Launch Day, March 16, Danson House, Danson Road, Bexley. 11am to 5pm. 020 8303 6699.
