RESIDENTS have been given green tips and advice at a seminar about household renewable energy sources.
More than 60 people from Dartford attended the meeting at Princes Park Community Stadium in Grassbanks, on Saturday.
The meeting was organised by Dartford Council and the National Energy Foundation (NEF), an organisation which helps people and organisations reduce their carbon emissions.
Topics included costs, installation, planning consent, wind turbines and ground-source heat pumps.
Portfolio holder for the environment Councillor Pat Coleman said: "Many people are becoming aware of the need to become more energy efficient, but it's not always easy to find the most appropriate solution."
