PEOPLE are being urged to have their say on proposed changes to healthcare in the area.
Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock is writing to every household in the borough asking people to take part in consultations on A Picture of Health proposals.
The plans could lead to the closure of the A&E department, maternity units and children's hospital at Lewisham Hospital.
Sir Steve said: "I am not telling people what they should say."
"However, I am not persuaded any of the proposals, as they stand, will meet the NHS objectives of ensuring higher quality care and better local services."
The consultation runs until April 7. For details, visit apictureofhealth.nhs.uk or call 0800 321 3579.
