TIME is running out to vote for your Young Volunteer of the Year.
Residents in Swanley have up until March 31 to nominate young people, aged 14 to 18, whose voluntary work has made a difference in their community.
Selected nominees will be invited to the awards ceremony, organised by Sevenoaks District Council, on May 15, where the winner will be announced.
Council cabinet member with responsibility for young people, Councillor Felicity Broomby, said: "The Young Volunteer of the Year scheme is all about raising the profile of young people's achievements in the district.
"So many young people give up their own spare time to help others and it is something that is not always recognised."
Nomination forms are available at Sevenoaks District Council, town and parish councils, libraries and community and voluntary youth groups. Nominations can also be made online by visiting sevenoaks.gov.uk/youngpeople
