Lanes have been closed and there is queueng traffic on the M25 near Orpington.
Lanes one and two on the M25 anticlockwise after junction 4 at Orpington have been closed.
This follows a brief traffic hold at 7.35am, according to AA maps.
An earlier van fire has been extinguished and is awaiting recovery.
The AA traffic maps update said: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to earlier van fire on M25 anticlockwise after J4 (Orpington).
"Lanes one and two (of three) remain closed following a brief traffic hold at 07:35, cameras show the van has been extinguished and is awaiting recovery."
