AN 11-year-old boy died following a collision with a bus on his way to school this morning.
The incident happened in Princes Road in Dartford at 7.26am today.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene.
The roads in the surrounding area were closed and remain closed at this time.
The 11-year-old boy believed to be a pupil at Wilmington Grammar School for Boys in Common Lane, Wilmington, died at the scene.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Unit is investigating.

Bus company sympathy
Bus company Arriva has expressed sympathy for the dead boy's family.
A spokesman for Arriva said: "At around 7.30am today a Fastrack bus on Route B travelling towards Dartford collided with a boy on Princes Road, near Brooklands Lakes.
"Sadly we have been informed he has subsequently died.
"Arriva are cooperating fully with the authorities in the investigation of the incident and our thoughts and sympathies are with the relatives of the boy."
