AN ELDERLY pedestrian who died 10 days after she was in collision with a white van has been named by police.
The 85-year-old woman, identified as Winifred Turner from Lee, was taken to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill, after the incident in Burnt Ash Hill, Lee.
The collision happened at the junction with Woodyates Road at around 11.50am on December 17.
She suffered mutliple head injuries and died on December 27.
A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday but as yet there is no date for an inquest.
Anyone who witnessed the collision should call the police's collision investigation unit at Catford traffic garage on 020 8285 1574.
- A 50-year-old man was arrested after the accident on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has been bailed to return to police in February.
