KEEN walkers enjoyed a historical journey around Kent's countryside.
The five-mile winter warmer walk, which started in Chalk, near Gravesend, attracted 51 people.
They walked for two-and-a-half hours and visited places such as the Chalk marshes and Shorne village.
Gravesham libraries district manager and local historian Chris Bull led the walk on behalf of the Gravesend Historical Society.
The 50-year-old said: "This is the fourth winter I have led a walk and it was fantastic.
"A lot of people turned up and we were very lucky with the weather."
