I THINK a petition should be done to stop Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, from closing.
Where else are we to go?
I was born there, and so were my two children. My baby girl is now 14 weeks old.
When I was pregnant I received the most brilliant care, even when there were worries my baby was going to be disabled.
When I went into labour the midwifes were absolutely brilliant and I couldn't fault any of them.
They were all busy, but they still had time to attend to me.
At one point I nearly lost my unborn child and if it were not for the A&E and the staff my son would not be here today.
Then when my newest arrival became ill at 10 weeks old with severe bronchitis, I was always told what was going on and they took care of my baby.
I bet more than half of the people in this borough were born in the hospital.
