A 17-MONTH-OLD baby's parents and uncle have denied his murder.
Peter Connelly died from injuries including a broken back and broken ribs and a tooth was found in his stomach during a post-mortem examination.
He was pronounced dead shortly after he was taken to hospital from his parents' home in Tottenham, north London, by ambulance on August 3.
His uncle Jason Owen, aged 35, of Wittersham Road, Bromley, appeared at the Old Bailey today (November 23) and pleaded not guilty to murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
Tracey Connelly, aged 26, and Steven Barker, aged 31, from Tottenham, appeared at the court via video link and pleaded not guilty to the same charges.
Connelly, who is due to give birth again on March 12 next year, and Barker were remanded in custody and Owen was released on bail.
They are all set to appear in court again on December 14 with a trial expected to start on June 9 next year.
