A man from Malpas has released a book containing poems inspired by farming life in Tilston.
Dennis Woodfine's poetry book, A Peasant's Poems is now on sale, containing 26 poems and a short story, lots of humour and some sadness in these beautiful poems.
Dennis takes his inspiration from his farming life in Tilston near Malpas and surrounding countryside and also from his own life experiences.
He wants to share with others his love for "his" bit of South West Cheshire, which lies between the Welsh hills to the west and the Larkton Duckington Bickerton hills to the east.
Dennis lives at Tall Trees, Higher Wych, Malpas, Cheshire SY14 7JR. Contact him on 01948781139 or email pine4u72@hotmail.com
The book can also be bought at the Malpas post office and at the village shop in Tilston.
This book is priced at £8.99, with one third of all proceeds donated to Cancer Research UK. It is also available on Google Books.
