Footage has emerged of a boy on a roof in Erith during a seven-hour stand-off with police who tried to coax him down.
The 17-year-old remains in custody following his arrest on Monday evening after he refused to come from the building in West Street.
Police negotiators, paramedics and the London Fire Brigade were called to St John's Church Community Hall at about 10.20am.
The street was closed off while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A video shared with News Shopper shows the boy appearing to pull tiles off the roof and chucking them down.
A photo shared by the Blendon and Penhill Police Facebook account shows one of the police cars that was damaged at the scene.
They described it as "a write off."
The boy eventually came down shortly after 5pm when he was arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH and criminal damage.
