A 27-year-old man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after a mother and daughter were attacked with a hammer in Eltham.
The victims, 64 and 30, both remain in critical condition following the horrific assault in Adderley Gardens on Sunday (August 19) lunchtime.
Joe Xeureb, 27, of Greenwich, was arrested seven hours after the attack and he has now been charged with attempted murder.
Xuereb will appear at the Old Bailey on September 18 charged with teo counts of attempted murder and one of possession of an offensive weapon.

The younger victim has been named as 30-year-old office worker Ania Gos.
Neighbours described her as a "sweet girl" and expressed they their shock that such an incident would happen on their "quiet little road".
