Police have released a CCTV image after a cyclist was punched and robbed in Dartford.

The man was travelling to work through Lowfield Street at about 7.10am on August 11 when he reported being attacked.

According to the victim, a group of teenagers - two girls and two boys - were sitting on a bench in a supermarket car park as they passed. One of the teenagers called out to the victim.

The victim then turned onto Instone Road and Lowfield Street, in the direction of Hawley Road, where the chain on his bike broke off.

One of the boys from the group then reportedly approached the victim, punched him in the face and stole his bike.

A passer-by helped the victim after he fell to the ground. They then spotted the bike nearby.
