CCTV footage of a man suspected of stealing petrol has been released by Bexley police in an attempt to locate him.
The video, on May 21, shows a Volkswagen Golf pulling up to BP Petrol Garage on Bexley Road in Erith.
A man is then seen taking petrol before driving away.
Electrical tape was used to alter the car's number plates.
Bexley police said in a statement: "Police are aware of the true vehicles index but would like to trace the driver who is believed to have committed other offences in and around the area.
"Any Information please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
