Bexley’s top GP surgeries have been revealed following an annual survey.
The GP Patient Survey asks residents for their opinions and measures their views on the standard of GP practices in their borough.
The survey quizzes patients on waiting times, the quality of care given, opening times and out-of-hours services.
In Bexley, 2,900 people took part in this year’s survey.
Overall, 80 per cent of people found Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group – the body in charge of practices – as being good, four per cent lower than the national average.
Overall, Plas Meddyg Surgery in Parkhill Road, Bexley, was the top-rated surgery in the borough – with 95 per cent of patients saying they had a “good” experience using it.
Patients said the surgery had helpful receptionists, and found it easy to make an appointment, with 91 per cent of patients saying it was easy to get through to someone on the phone, well above the 70 per cent national average.
