His older brother, Sam Urhie, 21, was recently released from prison after being jailed for drug-dealing offences in 2016, but he was arrested on Friday “on an urgent recall to prison”.

Police say he was not arrested on suspicion of the house fire at his family home.

A Met spokesman said: “A 21-year-old man was arrested by police in Lewisham on Friday, 10 August on behalf of the Probation Service following an urgent recall to prison.

"He was not arrested as a suspect in the ongoing murder investigation following the fatal fire in Deptford."

Two men, 21 and 29, have been arrested in connection to the fire and were detained on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and arson with intent to endanger life.

They were released under investigation pending further inquiries.

Police believe the suspected arson attack may have been gang-related after reports suggested Sam was the target.

Joel’s mother Sophie and 19-year-old sister Sarah escaped the fire by jumping out of a first-floor window.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call 020 8345 3715 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
