If you are planning a trip to the city this weekend then you may want to avoid the trains.

Due to engineering work taking place at Victoria station, there will be no Southeastern services from the major stop all of Sunday and a large part of today.

On Saturday, trains will be amended to start/terminate at London Blackfriars, not calling at Victoria.

The following alterations will apply all day:

Trains that normally run between London Victoria and Dover Priory will be re-timed between Blackfriars and Dover Priory, and call additionally at St Marys Cray, Swanley, Farningham Road and Sole Street.

Trains between Victoria and Dover Priory via Denmark Hill will be cancelled.

Trains between Victoria and Bromley South will be cancelled.

From 6pm onwards it only gets worse.

Trains between Sheerness-on-Sea and Sittingbourne will be re-timed.

Victoria - Ramsgate/Dover Priory services will run from Blackfriars.

Victoria - Orpington services will run from Blackfriars.

Victoria - Gravesend services will not run.

Then finally on Sunday it all comes to a head.

Trains between Victoria and Dartford will be cancelled.

Trains that normally run between Victoria and Orpington, will be amended between Herne Hill and Blackfriars and call additionally at Elephant & Castle.

Trains that normally run between Victoria and Canterbury East via Denmark Hill will run fast between Blackfriars and Bromley South, not calling at Denmark Hill.

Trains between Sheerness-on-Sea and Sittingbourne will be re-timed.

Victoria - Dover Priory/Ramsgate services will run from Blackfriars.
