Police have issued a warning after reports emerged of people being robbed of their valuables at Woolwich Dockyard railway station.
A tweet by the Woolwich Riverside unit in Greenwich, published on August 4, urges people to be “extra vigilant” when walking around the area.
However, it is currently unclear how many reports have been made and when these specifically took place.
We are aware of reports of people being robbed of their valuables at the Woolwich Dockyard BR station. Please be extra vigilant when walking around and if you see anything suspicious please call 101 or @BTP @BTPLondon officers will be patrolling the area. @NHWWoolRiver

The tweet reads: “We are aware of reports of people being robbed of their valuables at the Woolwich Dockyard BR station.
“Please be extra vigilant when walking around and if you see anything suspicious please call 101 or British Transport Police.”
Officers from the transport police will be patrolling the area following the reports, the post added.
