Firefighters battling a field fire in Longfield have brought in a special vehicle to get to the blaze.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service have been fighting the fire since 2.30pm this afternoon.

After managing to extinguish some of the flames, a two-hectare space about the size of two football pitches is still alight.

Crews have now drafted in an "all-terrain vehicle" to get access to the rest of the fire where it is hard to reach.

In total, four fire engines have been called to the field, which is in Hartley Bottom Road.
