Train passengers from south east London are advised to check their routes this weekend as Southeastern announces engineering woks.

An amended service will run on Sunday, July 29 which will affect services from London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks and Gravesend and London Cannon Street to Hayes.

Trains from Charing Cross to Gravesend via Sidcup will not run at all.

Dartford services via Woolwich Arsenal will be diverted from Charing Cross to Cannon Street.

A replacement bus service will run between New Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath and Lewisham. Buses will also run on the Hayes to Charing Cross line as the train service stops at New Beckenham.

On Tuesday evening, Southeastern advised commuters to get home as early as possible to avoid disruption over the New Beckenham to Hayes engineering work, which has been ongoing this week.
