A man has been arrested on suspicion of making a bomb threat resulting in the evacuation of the Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford.
Kent Police were called to the centre just before 2.15pm on Friday (July 20) after reports of a suspicious package.
A spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and the shopping centre was evacuated as a precaution, however it has since reopened.
"This incident is being treated as a hoax and a man in Medway has been arrested on suspicion of conveying a bomb threat."
