Firefighters have battled a fire in a patch of standing corn in the second land fire in three days in Dartford.
The fire, which engulfed the crops in a patch of land beside the A2 London-bound (near Hawley Road) took just under 30 minutes to put out.
In total, the fire covered 25x10m of standing corn, grass, hedge and scrub.
Four crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly after 6pm and the fire was brought under control by 6.30pm.
While they battled the blaze, Highways England traffic officers were also on the scene as a safety precaution.
