Twenty-five firefighters tackled a shed fire in Catford.

Four fire engines were called to Birkhall Road at 2.13pm today (July 16).

A shed and a greenhouse were destroyed by the fire.

The blaze also damaged a number of garden fences, and a brick-built shed.

London Fire Brigade's 999 control officers took 20 calls about this incident.

Two propane cylinders were involved in the fire.

Firefighters cooled and removed them as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.

The fire was under control at 4.06pm.

The cause is under investigation.
