A witness appeal has been issued after a crash in Sutton-at-Hone which left a motorcyclist from Welling in critical condition in hospital.

The collision, between a blue Honda Jazz car and a blue Yamaha motorbike, occurred shortly after 10.30pm on Friday (July 13) at the junction of Main Road (A225) and Dairy Close.

After the crash, the motorcyclist was taken to a London hospital with head injuries. His condition is described as critical but stable.

The Honda driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Now Kent Police are keen to find witnesses and footage of the incident as part of their investigation.

PC Simon Masterson, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "The Honda Jazz was travelling south towards Farningham when it appears to have turned right into Dairy Close and was in collision with the motorbike, which was travelling in the same direction.

"We are appealing for witnesses to contact us. We are especially interested in any CCTV footage from dashcams or people’s mobile phones, which may have caught the incident or the vehicles prior to it."

Anyone who might have information or footage relating to the crash is urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 quoting DB/DC/079/18. Alternatively, they can email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk.
