Images have been released of five men people are hunting in connection with an incident where bricks were thrown at two cars, including a police car, in Greenhithe.

The first incident was reported in the Ingress Park Avenue area, close to the junction with London Road, at around 7.15pm on June 22.

Shortly afterwards a parked police car was also damaged at the Bean junction of the B255.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers have conducted numerous enquiries, including speaking with witnesses and reviewing camera footage, and are now issuing images of five people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

“Anyone who recognises the men or has information about the incident can call Kent Police appeals line on 01474 366 149 quoting crime reference XY/038225/18.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

Nobody was reported injured in the incident.
