Southeastern commuters will face travel disruption in south east London and north Kent tomorrow as major engineering works take place.

Services to Dartford, Gravesend, and Sevenoaks from London Victoria, Canning Town, and Charing Cross will be affected, according to the train operator.

Trains running between London stations and Dartford, as well as Gravesend will be either amended or re-timed, while commuters are advised to board London Overground services at Charing Cross and London Victoria.

Meanwhile, Southeastern trains will be diverted between Lewisham and Orpington and not run through Grove Park.

This is due to engineering works taking place between St Johns and Grove Park, as well as between St Johns and Dartford via Sidcup – closing all lines – a spokesman for the train operator said.

But there will be replacement buses available between Lewisham and Grove Park which will call at Hither Green, as well as bus services between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.

The work is schedule to last from 11pm today (July 7) until the same time the following day.
