The cause of a fire that broke out on Welling High Street and was battled for nearly four hours is being investigated.
Almost 100 firefighters tackled the High Street blaze on Thursday (June 21) after it is understood a shop caught alight.
London Fire Brigade was called to Welling Home Store at 4pm. 97 firefighters and 15 fire engines battled the blaze.
A total of 18 calls were made to 999 to report the fire.
Crews from Erith, Bexley, Plumstead and Sidcup attended the scene as flames swept through half of the ground floor of the shop and a small part of a first-floor flat.

According to London Fire Brigade, the fire was brought under control by 7.38pm. One man was treated by London Ambulance Service was treated at the scene.
As the fire spread through the building, a worker at Elite Fish bar on Welling High Street told News Shopper: "We are right opposite where all the fire engines are.
"We can't see anything because of the smoke. There is just loads and loads of smoke."
