A 21-year-old man has been charged with assault and causing criminal damage after climbing onto the roof of a nursery in Swanley and refusing to come down for five hours.
Troy Clark, of no fixed address, caused a stir at the Dusk to Dawn nursery in St Mary's Road when he and a woman climbed onto the roof on Thursday, June 14, forcing the nursery to evacuate.
The woman came down from the roof after an hour, but Clark stayed on top of the building for a further four hours before finally getting down.
The road was closed by Kent Police while officers tried to coax him down.
He was charged with causing criminal damage to property and assault, in relation to an incident earlier that day.
He will appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on July 20.
