Residents have questioned a proposal to open a new restaurant in Sundridge Park.
A planning application has been submitted to Bromley Council to transform Minns Stores at 89 Burnt Ash Lane.
However, some nearby residents have objected to the plans.
Shuyih Yuen said: “Firstly, there are already six restaurants on the parade. There is limited parking in the area and an additional restaurant with concentrated trading times will only serve to make parking and congestion more of a problem.”
She also expressed concerns about food deliveries causing noise and smell disturbances for people living in Roslin Way.
Jan Lake added there are “far too many” restaurants, takeaways and coffee houses in Burnt Ash Lane as it is.
However, she later retracted the comment to say she has changed her stance to neutral because “anyone who has the courage to open any premises along Burnt Ash Lane Parade has got a lot of guts as the Parade is now dying”.
