Police have released footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary of a Bromley home.

Officers were called to a house on Bromley Road on Tuesday, May 15, shortly after 5pm, to reports of a burglary.

The owner came home to find jewellery had been stolen from his home, as well as a silver Mercedes.

Footage obtained by police shows that, at 12.13pm that same day, a suspect drove to the house in question in a blue Mercedes.

While smoking a cigarette, he walked into the victim's driveway for about 30 seconds. Police believe he then went back to his car and drove off in the direction of Shortlands station.

Less than 10 minutes later, the suspect came back to the house accompanied by another man wearing a grey tracksuit.

According to police, footage then shows the two men entering the house and coming out a few minutes later, driving the silver Mercedes, towards Shortlands station.

DC Chris Taylor said: "This appears to be a premeditated and calculated burglary in which various items of high value jewellery was stolen from the victim home as well as a car worth approximately £25,000.

"I urge anyone who was in the area the time and witnessed two men acting suspiciously to get in touch."
