A Plumstead man has today been charged with murder after the death of an eight-week old baby boy in 2016.
Abdoul Boudabes, 39, was charged on May 24 and has been remanded into custody.
An investigation was launched after the child was admitted into hospital with ‘unexplained injuries’ in September 2016, before he died four days later.
Officers previously arrested a 35-year-old woman in connection with the investigation before she was bailed and released with no further action.
Boudabes will now appear at Bromley Magistrates Court tomorrow (May 25).
The Met Police are continuing with enquiries.
