A road in Erith has reopened after the discovery and removal of an “unexploded Second World War bomb”.
Church Manorway was closed at the Thamesmead Spine Road following the finding this afternoon (May 22).
Transport for London made the announcement originally at 4.45pm today before providing an update at 6.30pm.
In Erith / Belvedere, Church Manorway has re-opened at the Thamesmead Spine Road following the discovery and removal of an unexploded World War II device.
