A dedicated police pooch has been commended after two men from Dartford were arrested on multiple charges after drugs were found following a police pursuit on Monday night.
The pair were seen driving through Dartford when police became suspicious of their car in Sharp Way. When police pursued the car, it reportedly sped away and then failed to stop.
An area search - aided by police dog Cliff - was carried out after the car was found empty in Eglantine Road.
The two suspects were found and detained in Saxon Place as a result of the search.
The duo were arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving and possession of cannabis.
They have since been released under investigation.
