Plans to demolish a home and build nine flats in Bickley have been submitted to Bromley Council.
Developers want to construct nine “luxury apartments” in Chislehurst Road with a basement parking space.
The flats would be predominantly two-bedroom, with just one three-bed included in the scheme.
The developers said: “The opportunity to provide high-quality residential development, contributing to the provision of new residential accommodation within the borough, should be given significant weight in the overall planning balance.”
The building work would impact a number of trees covered by a tree preservation order.
Councils hand out TPOs to protect significant trees, and developers need to get permission before they can be chopped down.
If the scheme gets the green light, the developers would bulldoze the current house and build a two-and-a-half-storey flat block.
The plans are being considered by council officers.
